Layering With Coloured Jewellery

It’s that time of year when we are all reaching for our coats, scarves and gloves as the temperature changes. Layering is key to make sure we keep warm and cosy! But, what do we do when all of our lovely layers of colour, fabrics and knits are off when we are indoors? This is when your outfit and jewellery really has the chance to shine. There’s no need to just use your layering to keep warm, use the same techniques to show off your jewellery and add that finishing touch to your outfit.

Long chains work perfectly over knits. If you are wearing a bold pattern top, opt for a simple, classic white gold or yellow gold chain with a pendant. For those of us who love all black or muted tones, consider adding a pop of colour via your jewellery. Think warm ruby reds, blue sapphires, and beautiful bright white diamonds.

Another option is stacking your bracelets or rings. Precious metals and semi-precious stones all mixed add to this stacking trend. Gone are the days of ‘less is more’!

Our wonderful fine jewellery boutique on Friar Street, Worcester has so many options on offer for you to try and take home. Do pop in and see us soon.

Rose Gold Glow

Stay on-trend with this year’s favourite metal.

Rose gold has become a firm favourite of the fashion savvy. Flirty and feminine, rose gold is crafted by combining 18ct gold with copper to achieve a subtle, blush pink finish that compliments every skin tone. While this metal is traditionally used in women’s watches and jewellery, it is being used increasingly by designers in other accessories from handbags to smart brogues.

Introducing our Expandable Pave Set Full Eternity ring…

Introducing our 18ct White Gold Expandable Pave Set full eternity ring. The ring fits up to four different ring sizes with the help of four spring plates sitting on the inner side of the shank. This means the ring can sit tight and comfortable on your finger without the struggle of being able to take the ring on and off. The concept of an expandable ring originated with the exploration of finger joint inflammation and arthritic hands. This ring allows for any swelling of the finger whilst maintaining a comfortable fit.
